July 4  Fourth of July Community Picnic
11-3pm. Free- all are welcome. Location: 151 Gumtree Road, HHI. Parking lot at HHI High School; ride free shuttles. Dunk Tank, Family Fun, Foodand Fellowship.  Free picnic style food courtesy of Kroger. Emcee: Lavon Stevens. Community Prayer - 2pm. July 4 – Fouth of July Parade 
8:30am. Register and pick up supplies at the Harbour Town Lighthouse to decorate your bicycle, wagon dog or kids for the 9:30am parade around Harbour Town. Entries judged on patriotism, supplies for first 100 registered.  Carnival games and inflatables afterwards. Details: 843-842-1979. 

July 4 - Fourth of July Fireworks 
Approximately 9 pm; Harbour town fireworks will light up the sky over Calibogue Sound and the Harbour Town Lighthouse, HHI. Food, fun, live music. Details: 843-842-1979. 

July 7 - Succulents Seminar
10am at Collectibles at the Greenery, 960 William Hilton Pkwy, HHI.  Seminar is designed for the creating and caring of air plants, succulents and terraniums.  Details: see the ad on page 42 or call 843-592-3759. 

July 8 - Soba Artist Reception
July 2nd - Aug 5: Gerry Diaz "Renacimiento" art exhibity is on display with reception date July 8; from 3 to 5 pm at the SOBA Gallery; Church St. at Calhoun. Diaz's works reflect the artist's love for Puerto Rico and human figures in different mediums. Details: 843-757-6586 or sobagallery.com.
 
July 13-22 - Beaufort Water Festival
Rendezvous by the River for 10 special days of activities, dance, concerts, competition, parades and pageantry! Everything kicks off with the opening ceremonies at 7pm on Friday, July 13th with the Parris Island Marine Band and fireworks.  Saturday Night's Concert in the Park will feature headline Granger Smith. July 14 - 3rd Annual Beaufort Sandbar Concert 
12 - 5pm. Pat Cooper returns to the river once again for a one-of-a-kind, live country music concert played on the Beaufort Sandbar on a floating stage. Free event and open to the public.  Located near downtown Beaufort.  Concert is only accesible by boat.  See facebook event for more information.   

July 18 - Cool Event

July 19 - Palmetto Quilt Guild Meeting

July 19-20 -May River Shrimp Festival

July 21 & Aug 18 - CPR Training
