The colorful masterpieces featured on Pink's cover each month are one of the signature features of our magazine. Created by artists from down the street to across the world, the chosen artwork is carefully procured to set the tone for the monthly theme and bring the issue alive.

In celebration of our 20 year anniversary, we'll be bringing you 20 covers each month to enjoy and reminisce!

Fun Facts About Our August Covers:
• Our first two August covers feature local favorite Amos Hummell's fun and fanciful artwork. You can see his artwork in a larger-than-life exhibit right now at The Sandbox.

• Our local artists must channel August vibes. Eight of the twenty covers featured here were painted by local artists from the SC Lowcountry and Savannah! And, we're adding another local artist to the bunch with this year's August cover.

• The August 2008 cover by reknown artist Peter Karis is our most abstract cover to date. His bold paint strokes and colorful work depicts a woman sitting in a chair. Do you see her?
