Tuesdays Parenting Workshops

Mar 23 - June 30 Verdier House Exhibit
The Friends of Fort Fremont announce the opening of one of the most comprehensive collections of Spanish-American War era artifacts ever displayed in S.C., with many period pieces on-loan from museums and private collections. For more information call: www.fortfremont.org.

3rd-4th  Music of the Night
April 3 & 4, 6:00 p.m. HH Symphony Orchestra presents-Music of the Night at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn, HHI. Enjoy an evening of Broadway Music with selections from Carmen, My Fair Lady, Cole Porter, and West Side Story. Altered Photography Redux Atlanta photographer H. Gay Allen will speak on the historical, sociological and philosophical considerations of altered photography from 5-7 PM at the Art League of Hilton Head's Art Academy. The fee is $10 per person. For more information call: 843.842.5738.

7th Pickin' by the River
Pickin' by the River (bluegrass, oldtime, country and folk) Noon - 5:30 p.m. at Beaufort Waterfront Park. Please come and join us! 6:00 - 10:30 p.m. Junior Service League of Beaufort (JSLB) will host the JSLB BBQ at The Arsenal, 809 Port Republic Street, Downtown Beaufort. The event raises funds for the league's grant process which benefits agencies and organizations serving women, children, and families. 23rd Free Vascular Screenings
The 7th Annual Bill Verity Cup Pro-Am Charity Golf Tournament, Sanctuary Golf Club, Cat Island, in Beaufort.  Shotgun start 1 p.m. The tournament is named for Bill Verity, the late U.S. Secretary of Commerce who was an avid supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Beaufort.
