Annual Solar Neptune Square

The sun and Neptune are like a couple with an annual appointment with a marriage counselor to check in and make sure all is on track. In a safe space, these two air their grievances and attempt the sort of communication style that will allow conflicts to surface in a healthy, productive way. As it goes with these things, feelings are on the line. What’s said and done cannot be unsaid or undone, so go gingerly and with compassion.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). There are things you do for the benefits (like a paycheck, the validation of your family or the approval of society at large) and things you do for your own enjoyment. A few activities will fill both categories at once—wonderful! And the more you can meld those two types of efforts, the sweeter your month will be.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Whatever the argument is about, there will be an expert to support it from any and every side. Knowing that you can always find someone to validate your opinion only makes you strive for greater truth and accuracy. It also allows for the humility to say, “I really don’t know yet,” which takes intelligence indeed.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
Very few people in the world are lucky enough to naturally land in a fantastic support system, which is why a talent like yours is so valuable. Your stellar sense for team-building is epic this month. You’ll put your feelers into the world, and you’ll find and enlist those who think and act with your same positivity.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
If a person is ignorant and yet still is convinced of being 100% right, there’s little to be done except to move on. The ones you can make a difference for will know that they don’t know and will be receptive to doing it better. It’s a month of teaching and learning. You’ll be both leader and follower.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Sometimes, you do things because they fall in line with your idea of who you are, though the actual task gives you little else in the way of satisfaction. Recognize and tinker with the dynamic this month with questions like: Is this really as necessary/important as I am making it? If so, how can I have more fun with it?

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). As it goes in relationships and other shelters, the walls are just as important as the foundation. Set boundaries. Decide where you are and are not willing to go with another person. The closer the relationship, the more potential it has to alter the course of your life for better or worse. You’ll be very careful in this regard.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Emotionally impactful scenes make good stories, but good stories and true stories aren’t necessarily the same thing. Also, positive experiences can be exciting, but not all exciting experiences are positive. If life is a little boring, wonderful! Better to add a little spice than be constantly reacting to a drama.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You don’t have to be anything other than what you are. Knowing who you are requires trying new things to see if they are a good fit or not. Once this is determined, proceed on the new information. If you have to let things go, do so without guilt. If you go forward, do so in joy, not obligation.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). The difference between what society calls a bad thing or a good thing is often a few votes. Popularity earns power. But that doesn’t make a thing morally sound. Your eyes are wide open this month and you are checking things out on multiple levels.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). The early bird gets the worm, but it’s the second mouse that gets the cheese. There will be many variables that contribute how this month plays out: your role, the circumstances and whether or not there’s a trap involved, which is something to look out for. Your timing will be impeccable, so long as you stay alert.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
It is said that teaching is a melding of preparation and theater, which will definitely be true for you this month. You’ll influence others through your example and through storytelling. As you convey the journey you’ve lived, the details you remember might surprise you. You don’t often revisit the past like this.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
What if you knew that every beautiful thing you built for yourself would eventually be beautiful in the lives of others? How would that change your behavior going forward? This is the truth. You can take care of others first, or you can take care of yourself first and, in the end, either way will close a perfect circle.
