Pace® Foods has been crafting the perfect savory salsa for more than 70 years, originating in 1947 with lovable craftsman and entrepreneur, David Pace®. Over the better part of a decade, one mixture rose to the top of his recipes: freshly hand-picked jalapeño, crisp onion and ripe, smoothly blended tomato, creating the world’s first “Picante Sauce.” David Pace created an alliance with local farmers to ensure fresh ingredients year round. Pioneering the Pace® Pepper Trail, which is still used today, Pace purveyed hand-picked heirloom jalapeños for the freshest flavor, achieving quality and goodness year-round by harvesting jalapeños with consistent texture and flavor, despite changes in seasons. And, don’t let the heat of the jalapeños scare you; Pace® caters to everyone who loves Tex-Mex flavor, even if you don’t love the heat. Today, Pace® continues to bring the heat with more than 20 delicious salsas, picante sauces and cheesy quesos, (plus organic and gluten-free options) all developed from their original high quality flavor profiles.
